HyLab's ultimate goal is to establish a globally recognized Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D+I) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on enhancing hydrogen competitiveness and creating new products and services.
Additionally, the HyLab will drive innovation by addressing the essential components of the supply chain necessary to facilitate a hydrogen-based economy and promote the creation of skilled and value-added jobs.
Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between academia and industrial ecosystems in the implementation of green hydrogen, thereby accelerating the energy transition and addressing the challenges associated with it throughout the entire hydrogen value chain.
The HyLab brings together esteemed national and international R&D institutes, academic institutions, industrial companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, and hydrogen-related technology manufacturers.
We are looking for a Researcher who will report to the Research Line PMO and will be challenged with the mission to lead research in the area of Green H2 Production Management and contribute to adjacent research areas.
You will be challenged with:
- Collaborate with adjacent research areas;
- Develop solutions to answer questions of customers and partners in their area of expertise;
Who are we looking for:
- MSc in Engineering: Energy Management, Environment or similar.
- +3 years of research experience in one of the previously mention areas.
- Knowledge about green H2 production processes and competency in techno-economic modeling of production processes.
- Proficiency in at least one of following -Python, C++, MATLAB, COMSOL, OpenFOAM Ansys.
- English proficiency level C1.

O HyLab envolve valiosos institutos de I&D nacionais e internacionais, academias, empresas industriais, pequenas e médias empresas (PMEs), startups e indústrias de fabricação de tecnologia relacionada com o hidrogénio.
Estamos à procura de um(a) Researcher que reportará ao Responsável pela Gestão de Projetos da Linha de Investigação e será desafiado(a) com a missão de desenvolver a investigação na área da Gestão da Produção de H2 Verde e contribuir para áreas de investigação adjacentes.
Principais desafios:
- Colaborar com áreas de investigação adjacentes.
- Desenvolver soluções para responder às questões de clientes e parceiros na sua área de especialização.
Perfil procurado:
- Mestrado em Gestão de Energia, Engenharia de Ambiente ou semelhante.
- Conhecimentos sobre processos de produção de H2 verde e modelação técnico-económica dos processos de produção.
- Bom domínio da programação em Python, C++, MATLAB, COMSOL, OpenFOAM e/ou Ansys-Fluent.
- Nível de proficiência em inglês C1.
